Club Information
The Medallion Rottweiler Club
|
| Serving the breed since 1959, the Medallion
Rottweiler Club is one of the largest, AKC sanctioned, regional
Code of Ethics
Rottweiler Specialty Clubs in the United States. As a
Code of Ethics Club, MRC endorses
the breeding of sound Rottweilers, free of hip dysplasia as
determined by the O.F.A. and with no disqualifying faults as
listed in the AKC Standard. |
In addition to holding what is usually
one of the largest specialty
shows for Rottweilers in the world,
the MRC sponsors matches, obedience
clinics, breed seminars, judges' symposiums, tracking tests,
Therapy Dog International and Canine Good Citizen testing.
In addition the club provides public education on the
Rottweiler and members perform therapy dog visits to
schools, senior care centers and hospitals in the greater
Chicagoland area. In its
dedication to preserve the Rottweiler, The Medallion
Rottweiler club also fights breed specific legislation and
supports Canine Health Foundation research.
Please
consider attending an upcoming MRC meeting or event.
Simply click the Events Calendar link and scroll through
the months to see when and where we will be getting
together next. We enjoy getting to know other Rottweiler
enthusiasts and will be happy to discuss the breed and
club with you. Hope to see you soon!
