In addition to holding what is usually the
one of largest specialty
shows for Rottweilers in the world,
the MRC sponsors matches, obedience
clinics, breed seminars, judges’ symposiums, tracking tests,
Therapy Dog International and Canine Good Citizen testing.
In addition the club provides public education on the
Rottweiler and members perform therapy dog visits to
schools, senior care centers and hospitals in the greater
Chicagoland area. In its
dedication to preserve the Rottweiler, The Medallion
Rottweiler club also fights breed specific legislation and
supports Canine Health Foundation research. |
